Gabriel Alcaraz

"Growing up as a kid, your average American automobile came stock with AM/FM radio and typical Saturday morning revolved around cartoon classics. Then came the gift of Star Wars being the first movie theater experience to blow open fantasy makin! With the years unfolding the spirit of creativity was surrounded with rock-n-roll, BMX, and the freedom of being a suburban pirate. These basic entertainments paved the road to fine art." Cat Broadbridge

The Wizard and The Owl

Cat is an artist from St. Petersburg, Russia, whose intricate pen-and-ink illustrations, inspired by the classic children’s novels of the early 1900s, bring timeless wonder to this book. Drawn to music, film, and offbeat culture, Cat finds beauty in the delightfully bizarre, infusing her work with whimsical charm. Her love for animals—from squirrels, mice, and guinea pigs to her cherished childhood dog, Freddy, bought by her grandma outside a subway station—adds a heartfelt touch to her art. Now living in Tennessee with her husband, Clifton, and their three adored cats, Zani, Dasha, and Kevin, Cat continues to create captivating art, music, and music videos, blending nostalgic elegance with quirky flair.
